Brasformer Braspel is a 100% national company based in São Paulo and São Bernardo do Campo. Our main mission is to design and manufacture instrument transformers (low and medium voltage current and potential transformers) and high-fidelity and robust capacitive insulators.
Our equipment is essential for billing, measurement and protection systems of electrical circuits, serving large power utilities, petrochemical, metallurgical industries, panel builders and substations throughout the national and international territory.

Foundation and start of activities
Brasformer started its activities in 1973 with the aim of meeting the growing demand of the Brazilian electricity sector for reliable measurement and protection equipment. In 1990, it expanded its production, increasing its production capacity and strengthening its presence in the instrument transformer market. In 2005, it carried out industrial modernization, investing in technology and improving manufacturing processes.
In 2020 it had a major technological evolution. Brasformer expands its portfolio and strengthens its presence in the national and Latin American market. Since its foundation, the company has concentrated its efforts on the development of instrument transformers with a high technical standard and metrological precision. Over the years, the company has built a path marked by constant growth and consolidation in the national market.
